Professional Qualifications

Drucilla Likens Pape is an experienced Occupational Therapist and graduate of the prestigious Loma Linda University and Medical Center in Southern California. Throughout her career she has combined her love of art and science to create her unique approach to occupational therapy.

Dru has spent the entirety of her 31 years as an Occupational Therapist treating both pediatric and adult individuals who are significantly handicapped or in pain.  Of the many health care studies she has pursued in order to meet the high level needs of her patients, Dru discovered one approach that made the most significant difference in her own life and in the lives of her patients.  For this reason, Dru has dedicated her life's work to the ongoing study and practice of John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach® Therapy.

     Occupational Therapy Qualifications/Experience
    Dru is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist, seasoned by many years of active listening, skilled observation, and clinical expertise. Dru is attuned to the importance of understanding pain and dysfunction from a human perspective, realizing that stress and imbalance cause dis-ease. She is accustomed to creative problem solving needed for treating complex health issues.

    Dru assesses each individual from a broad perspective as well as with a precise focus.  Her skilled assessment and masterful treatment draw from an extensive knowledge base of clinical experience and pursuit of cutting edge research/continuing education.   

    Throughout Dru's 33 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, she has treated infant-geriatric patients. She is experienced in treating those with special needs as well as those with complex health issues. Dru has had the privilege of working with the finest multi-disciplinary teams, which is why she is skilled at treating with a global perspective, and easily communicates with other health professionals on behalf of her patients at their request.
